Geography Tutoring

This 9th grade elective course (offered by some school districts) reviews how a society’s geographic location and environment shape work and living opportunities as well as relationships with people from other societies. The curriculum will cover various regions throughout the world. Students will learn to read maps and understand the distribution of the earth’s population, as well as study earth’s physical and human features, and access to resources such as fresh water, minerals, etc.
