Certified Professional World History (Regular/AP) Tutoring
This course, offered in 10th grade, covers a period of over 250 years of what’s considered “the modern world.” The curriculum will cover the years 1750 through the present, highlighting global history as people, products, diseases, knowledge, and ideas spread around the world in a way never seen before. Students will learn about the transition in Europe from monarchy to a more modern nation-state government. They will also consider how modern communication led to more complex world relationships and how Europe and the United States exerted great military and economic power. They will also explore how people, goods and ideas moved through and between Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.
