Individual Subject Tutoring

After students receive their online instruction from their schools (either from home or, if you wish, in our study center), some families may choose to hire a tutor who will work one-on-one with students for up to 2-3 hours per day, as needed. Even in normal circumstances, many students benefit greatly from individual one-on-one tutoring. During the Covid-19 shutdown, this type of academic assistance can be particularly helpful as many students struggle more than usual in adjusting to online learning and not receiving the kind of personal attention from their teachers that they are accustomed to. A tutor providing individualized assistance can make a big difference for your student.

• Students will be matched with a tutor who is specifically chosen to match his or her learning style as well as the specific academic subject area(s) with which your student needs assistance. We have tutors available for all students ages K-12 in all subject areas and/or academic levels.
• Tutors will work with your students one-on-one to review lessons and to go over and complete homework, study for exams, and/or complete projects. Scheduling is flexible and we can work around your family’s schedule in finding the best time that works for you and your student.
• This tutoring can be done in our West Hills tutoring center (with strict social distancing and health regulation standards in place) or remotely via Zoom. The tutoring will be customized to your student’s needs with an emphasis on the subject area(s) he or she most requires assistance with.
