Small Learning Pods

This program is perfect for busy or working parents who may not feel they have the ability or time to oversee their children’s education. It also gives students (safe) interaction with peers, something that many of them have been missing during this extended shutdown.

• Parents are encouraged to form pods of 3 to 5 students who are in the same class or grade. Synergy Academics staff will also, upon request, help form pods by finding students of similar age and academic courses who wish to participate in this type of learning group.
• Ideally, students will do their remote education online from our West Hills facility, and then once the formal education is complete, the group will work collaboratively with a tutor who will review the daily lessons taught and tutor the students as necessary to ensure they understand the material and are able to complete their homework or assignments. (If preferred, students can also receive their online education at home and then come into our center to meet with their learning pod.)
• While students will be working together with a tutor in our facility, strict safety measures will be enforced, including masks, social distancing, temperatures taken, and other measures that follow (and exceed) CDC recommendations.
