Standardized Test Preparation
Standardized testing is a reality for most students as they go through school. Whether it is a private school admission test, a high school equivalency test, an Advanced Placement test, SAT/ACT for college admission, or admissions tests for graduate school acceptance, students will likely be preparing for standardized testing at some point in their lives.
Without proper test prep, it has become harder than ever to get into the college of your choice, let alone the college of your dreams. Achieving a top GPA is simply not sufficient on its own. Colleges are looking for consistency. Your standardized test scores should be at least commensurate with your academic grades. If your GPA isn’t exactly “Ivy League” material, then strong standardized test scores are critical when applying to a competitive school. Moreover, if the Ivy League is what you are striving for, then top scores are a must!
At Synergy Academics, we have developed rigorous test prep programs that work! Students may be confused as to whether to take the SAT or ACT. Our effective assessment test helps students determine which test they are best suited for. Our highly trained tutors will then determine a schedule of regular tutoring sessions to prepare students for the exam(s). In addition to reviewing the types of questions that will be asked and providing proven test taking techniques, students will be given numerous practice exams which they take in real time so that they are prepared for the actual time limits and conditions on the test day.
