The ACT Science test includes 50 multiple choice questions that must be completed in 36 minutes. There will be about seven science passages with questions following each. The topics include biology, chemistry, physics, and earth/space sciences. Most of the questions can be answered from the information presented in the passages, but several questions might require outside knowledge. The passages will include charts and graphs, experiments and opposing viewpoints. Synergy Academics tutors will give students tools to be successful on this science tests. Students will learn how to look up data and trends, make predictions and synthesize information. Tutors will teach the students test taking strategies and methods which will help them perform their best. Students will also be able to take practice ACT Science tests in order to know what to expect. The ACT score is calculated by averaging all sections of the tests and is out of a total of 36 points.
